Charlie has not yet been neutered, I ask that you get that done within the first 2-3 months that you have them, unless you are interested in breeding. Charlie’s price with AKC breeding rights is $950. He carries red & tan points. Dna testing completed.
Charlie is a loving sweetheart, but shy with new people. Having said that, once you earn his trust & let him bond with you, his favorite thing to do is get body scratches as he buries his head into your chest. He needs a quiet home, without a lot of expectations, as it may take him a little while to adjust. He’d do well with other dogs as he loves to run & play. He would be an amazing farm dog! He’s good with cats, farm animals and other dogs. He is crate/potty trained, and does very well walking on a leash. In fact, I think he’s happiest walking on a leash because it gives him confidence.
These babies have been a loved & cherished part of our dog pack and our family since they were little. We’ve had to face some harsh realities here on the farm. My husband, Rob, & I both have some increasing health issues that are affecting our energy & our stamina. Finances have been tough since moving to our dream farm in 2021 and Rob has had to return to full-time work outside of the farm (leaving me to run the farm all by myself.). Im finding myself without enough time to give each and every puppy on our farm the 1-1 attention they deserve.
It is going to be hard to let go of these beloved family members, however, it will definitely make us happy for them and in their best interest to move on to being a full time sofa dog without a dozen other dogs they have to compete with for attention.
It has been our dream to retire on our farm, but the reality is a lot more work, time and finances than we expected it would be.
Thank you for considering the addition of one of these sweet babies into your family . Each one has his/her own unique quirks and will require patience & understanding as they transition to their new home. The process may be slow with a required application and serious commitment no matter what challenges you may need to overcome in the transition process. I will be here to support you both towards success every step of the way. Every adult placement comes with a trial of up to 30 days. We understand that adult dogs have a harder time transitioning and we would have them here with us on the farm than in a home that isn’t a mutually rewarding relationship for everyone.
Each placement has a trial period to make sure it is a good fit. We will absolutely keep any of these dogs here on the farm with us forever unless the perfect home finds them. Please contact me with questions: 270-406-8228
