These sweet babies are being retired from our program. They have not yet been spayed or neutered, I ask that you get that done within the first 2-3 months that you have them, unless you are interested in breeding.
Daphne: She is house trained as long as she learns her new routine, we have a doggie door. She will sometimes chase our barn kitties, she doesn’t seem to bother our 2 indoor cats. She’s a people pleaser for her owner (or pack leader) but is usually shy with new people at first. She is a spunky fun little girl that just wants to play and get love. 💕 She has a pretty good energy level too.
Reba: Reba is 100% House trained & crate trained. She has a high energy level, is super duper smart and loves to snuggle on the couch or in our bed. She will need an Aussie experienced owner, only because she thinks (knows?) she’s the boss! She’s good with cats, kids and farm animals. 👍
Charlie: Charlie is super shy with new people and he tends to prefer women over men. Having said that, once you earn his trust & let him bond with you, his favorite thing to do is get body scratches as he buries his head into your chest. He needs a quiet home, without a lot of expectations, as it may take him a while to adjust. I’m sure he’d do well with other dogs as he loves to run & play. He would be an amazing farm dog! He’s good with cats, farm animals and other dogs.
These babies have been a loved & cherished part of our dog pack and our family since they were little. We’ve had to face some harsh realities here on the farm. My husband, Rob, & I both have some increasing health issues that are affecting our energy & our stamina. Finances have been tough since moving to our dream farm in 2021 and Rob has had to return to full-time work outside of the farm (leaving me to run the farm all by myself.). Im finding myself without enough time to give each and every puppy on our farm the 1-1 attention they deserve.
It is sad & heartbreaking to let go of these beloved family members, however, it will definitely make us happy for them and in their best interest to move on to being a full time sofa dog without a dozen other dogs they have to compete with for attention.
It has been our dream to retire on our farm, but the reality is a lot more work, time and finances than we expected it would be.
Thank you for considering the addition of one of these sweet babies into your family . Each one has his/her own unique quirks and will require patience & understanding as they transition to their new home. The process will be slow with a required application and serious commitment no matter what challenges you may need to overcome in the transition process. I will be here to support you both towards success every step of the way.
Each placement has a trial period to make sure it is a good fit. We will absolutely keep them here on the farm with us forever unless the perfect home finds them. Please contact me with questions: 270-406-8228
